McGregor takeover at the Natick Mall

During the last weekend of holiday shopping in December 2008, Street Attack was hard at work, not looking for those last minute bargains, but seeking out those last minute shoppers. McGregor, a European clothing line that recently launched its first store in the Natick Collection, commissioned Street Attack to build brand awareness and boost sales around the holiday. With most in-mall advertising reserved to a-frames, free standing signs, and above head banners, Street Attack sought out alternative and engaging tactics that would increase store foot traffic during the holidays.

With permission from the Natick Collection, Street Attack was able to set up a mock store window display that included both mannequins and live “Freeze” models.” Next to the display was a branded step and repeat. McGregor models encouraged curious shoppers to take a classic Polaroid picture with them. Participants were incentivized to visit the McGregor store with the enticing 15% discount that the Polaroid awarded them.

While in the store, customers were greeted by models, a live jazz band, complimentary beverages and light appetizers. When the long Saturday of shopping was over, McGregor celebrated their largest single day sales numbers since the store opened in September of 2008.
