Here Comes the Bride(al) Shop in Brooklyn!
Our doors opened this past Thursday at the Brooklyn Pop-up Wedding Shop and our weekend was filled with exciting events and special guests.
Before we recap the weekend festivities, special thanks is due to the Wedding Library team for merchandising the entire store, organizing the schedule of special guests, and having staff on hand all weekend to help with all store logistics.
Visiting all the way from Canada was our title Sponsor The Wedding Co. Here to promote their new social project, (or prowject as the Canadians say it), both Catherine and Stephanie were at the shop all weekend folding cranes. Any bride and groom can participate in this project. Simply sign your names and wedding date on a folded paper crane and return it to The Wedding Co. With each paper crane received, the Wedding Co. will donate $.50 to cancer research. All collected cranes will be assembled into a massive chandelier for display in 2011-so stay tuned!

Even Vane, of Brooklyn Bride, stopped in to make a crane!
Every bride should check how they can participate and visit The Wedding Co to learn more about turning their wedding date into a social movement for a cure!
Where do we begin with the events for this weekend? Between lunch with Lisa Hoffman of Ceci New York, and ice cream treats from Jen and Mary of Ice Cream social we were stuffed to the brim with Wedding stationary and gift options. Each company puts a unique twist on their wedding designs, and can match the style of any couple! Check out these links to discover their amazing works.
Additional Guests this weekend included Dabney Lee, who creates bold prints for stationary and home goods, as well as Inspired Goodness, who specializes in custom design, favors, and stationary and has the in house muscle to plan a wedding from start to honeymoon!
Didn’t get a chance to stop by this week? Don’t fret, we have plenty of wedding centric events planned this month. Visit Brooklyn Chapel to get the most up to date schedule of events.
