On a recent trip to LA we got to take a first-hand look at some experiential and out of home marketing tactics being used for this summers upcoming movie blockbusters.
Check out these two very different campaigns…
District 9′s viral tactics have generated a lot of buzz over the last few months, however we think they did a pretty good job with their guerrilla ads as well. Posters can be seen everywhere on bus stops, car parks and even in restrooms.
Try and call the toll free number to report “non human” activity, it actually works!
G.I Joe’s swooping helicopter stunt can only be described as intrusive, attention grabbing and in your face – how very Hollywood! What else would you expect for a $150 million budget.
