Carnival Cruise Lines drew crowds of more than 2,500 people in Dallas when it dropped the world’s two largest beach balls off of the top of a parking structure. The balls measured 36 feet in diameter and broke the Guinness World Record. The event caught the attention of everyone from bloggers to broadcast journalists.

Ocean Spray took over Rockefeller Plaza in New York City, bringing in over 2,000 pounds of cranberries for an urban cranberry bog, equipped with actual cranberry growers. The stunt is part of the company’s “Straight from the Bog” campaign and has increased product sales by double digits.
